Thank you for your interest in Bridge The Divide Foundation, Inc.   

By providing high-speed broadband access and free computing equipment to schools, the Foundation aims to "bridge the digital gap" that separates children in rural and low-income schools from affluent students.  

Recognizing that students must leverage the information revolution in order to be prepared to succeed in twenty-first century society, the federal government created programs to put technology in the hands of all students.  The Foundation participated in one such program under which the Federal Communications Commission granted Educational Broadband Service licenses ("EBS" licenses) to non-profit organizations that offer educational assistance to schools.  The Foundation provided schools with free computer equipment and free internet access on the EBS licenses it held.
